Late August was designed with a bit of an homage to the iconic Sear's department store. The terrazzo tile flooring is original to the Sears and provides an authentic backdrop to a design that is punctuated with a playful mix of color and shape.
Custom, built-in millwork draws additional inspiration from 1970’s Sears restaurant designs and features rich jewel tones of teal, burnt orange, and salmon. Handmade metallic-accented wallpaper accents the curvaceousness of the deco architecture in the main dining space.
The custom marble bar is a focal point with contrasting inlaid marbles, mirrored tiles and sculptural metallic mirrors behind the rows of uplit bottles in the back bar.
Art throughout is by local artists Robert Hodge and the Moon Pappas.
